Privacy Policy

1. Summary

Mini Scanner is designed to keep your scans on your device. We do not operate a Mini Scanner cloud account, and we do not sell personal data.

2. Data stored on your device

• Scanned pages, PDFs, notes, folders, signatures and app preferences are saved locally on your iPhone.
• Optional app lock PIN is stored in the device Keychain (not in plain preferences) and is never sent to us. Biometrics can unlock the app when enabled. App Lock is a convenience feature, not a substitute for full-disk encryption.
• We cannot read your documents remotely.

3. Permissions

• Camera — used only when you scan or capture a page.
• Photo Library — used only when you import images or save exports you choose.
• You can revoke permissions in iOS Settings at any time.

4. Purchases and Apple

Subscriptions and restores are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. Apple may share purchase status with the app so PRO features can unlock. Payment details stay with Apple. Manage or cancel in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions.

5. Analytics and advertising

This iOS build does not show third-party ads and does not use an advertising identifier for ad targeting. We do not build an advertising profile from your document contents.

6. Sharing you initiate

If you share a PDF, image, Word/Excel file or backup via the iOS share sheet, AirDrop, Mail or another app, that content leaves the device under the rules of the destination you choose.

7. Children

Mini Scanner is not directed at children under 13. Do not use the app to store sensitive information about children without appropriate adult supervision and consent.

8. Data retention and deletion

Delete documents inside the app, or delete the app to remove local Mini Scanner data from the device (subject to iOS backups you control). Uninstalling does not cancel an App Store subscription; cancel that separately in Apple ID settings.

9. International use

Processing of purchase records follows Apple’s systems. Local files remain on your device wherever you use it.

10. Changes

We may update this policy when features or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
